Seattle Ladies Choir

Here is our group. First official practice and Cara's birthday. Our very young director pictured to right. He's very talented.

I hope someday our hard work is appreciated by more than Amy's neighbors and the occasional squirrel that might happen by her windows.

Easter Egg Hunt

Renton Mom's Group Annual Easter Egg Hunt:

Waiting for the start.

Emily is not photogenic at all or else I need a faster shutter on my camera. I was thinking about getting some portraits done of her but I am guessing half of them would look similar to this.

Dropped the basket, going for the eggs fast.

Opening the plastic eggs and getting some candy.

Emily and Bryce at our house afterward.

Bed Jumping

I am hoping one day this is an Olympic sport because Emily will be a gold medalist. There is a bratty little sideways smirk she does at the halfway point. Which one of us did she get that from?

2 year stats

Emily is 24.8 lbs (10-25%), 34.5 inches (75%) tall which affirms what we already knew: she's skinny and tall. We need to put some meat on those bones.

Spring

Spring is almost here. Emily is ready to do some gardening.

Make up

We went over to Mimi's one day and Emily loves to play with her make up. This is what happened.

Gasworks

We had a wild idea to go to Seattle one Sunday morning . Emily loves to go to parks so we went to Gasworks.

Emily and Daddy at the park.

Things were going well until we stumbled upon a homeless encampment and decided to leave...immediately.

Birthday party

Emily had an amazing birthday party. Unbeknown to us she had a terrible ear infection the whole time, she is quite the little trooper. Being as there were 30+ people at our little house, here is the only photo I took.

Here is Emily and Grant having some quiet cuddle time after the party started to clear out.

Birthday Day

Emily turned two and she got to go to Chuck-e-Cheese. She immediately informed us that she was scared of the animatronic Chuck and friends so we stayed far from them the whole time. Here are some of the action shots.

Running, what else!?

Whack-a-mole

Tickets please

Playing pop-a-shot nowhere near the pop-a-shot machine.

Running!

Driving.
Screaming with joy.

Soccer

Emily is doing well at soccer, or as she calls it "ball-kick." This Saturday is her last class, I think we're going to take a break and try something new after it ends. Maybe gymnastics.

This is generally how she feels about soccer when it starts.

Then we do some running.

And then play with the ball.

Then we are having fun.

Back to it

After a little break from blogging I am back. I am going to post quite a few today so get comfy.
