Happy Birthday

Happy Halloween! Since our kitty is black and we got her from the pound, we've celebrated her birthday on Halloween. Ginny's 9 years old this year. This means Emily's future is bright if we've managed to keep a cat alive this long. We'll post the Emily Halloween pics this weekend.

Halloween Prep

The Roes headed off to the local Pumpkin Patch, which I thought was pretty funny considering I grew up in this area and this used to be a cow pasture. South 47 Farms was fun for about 10 minutes.

All these wooden things with head cut outs are fun to do, I don't care what anyone says.

Here was a nice goat. I love goats!

Emily is really into sticking her tongue out, Ala Michael Jordan slam dunking.

I was having a nice time. Dave told me to wear boots. These were the first things I thought of. He was embarrassed to be seen with me.

An alpaca.

We were so close we had to swing by and see Papa.

Getting ready to carve the pumpkin. Emily was trying on a dog costume.

Dave is never too far from a Fosters.

Finished product, two teeth on the bottom, just like Emily.

Oregon Trip

Mom and I went to Oregon the second weekend of October. We all had a great time. Here are some of the photos.

One of our two stops at the Country Cousin in Chehalis. Good food.
Oregon Ducks bookstore, this should anger Dave being as the Ducks are our rivals in the Pac-10.

Touring Campus in Eugene.

Joe and Emily at the famous U of O track.

Here is Stella, Joe and Mary's neighbor. She was fun to play with.

The girls staring at Joe, ladies man.

This is an Oldie, But A Goodie

This one is of Jasmine as a puppy playing with our dearly departed cat Gus. He put up with a lot of crap. He died of diabetes right before I found out I was pregnant with Emily, June of 2007.

The audio is particularly funny to me in this one, nice song. Mind you, this was probably filmed at 8 am on a Saturday. Dave's got great taste in music.

I really like our old furniture, some of it clearly chewed on. Jasmine also eats something off the floor, who knows what that was. The baby gate was to keep Jasmine in the kitchen when we were at work.

So I Am A Blogger Now

I am having some down time with work so I thought I would start this up to show off some pics of Emily. Here she is learning to crawl. There is a big chunk of something on the carpet, it looks like it might be dirt just magnified by the camera being on the floor. I am sure it's something the dogs tracked in. I have vacuumed since this was taken.
